On 10 June 2026, students from the Secondary and Junior College divisions brought the academic year to a memorable close through the SJC Year-End Celebration. The programme combined drama, storytelling and student achievement, giving the school community an opportunity to enjoy the creativity, confidence and growth developed throughout the year.
The stage featured three distinctive presentations: Malin Kundang, Suwidak Loro and Friendship's Life. Through these stories, students explored themes drawn from folklore, relationships and everyday life while developing their skills in acting, movement and communication. Behind each performance was a demanding process of rehearsal and collaboration, from learning lines and refining timing to coordinating costumes, props and transitions. Every performer and supporting team member played an important role in bringing the stories to life.
The celebration also included a recognition segment honouring students for their achievements. This moment acknowledged the effort, progress and positive contributions that had shaped the school year. Together, the performances and awards reflected the wider purpose of the Year-End Celebration: to appreciate artistic expression, recognise growth and celebrate a community in which students learn to lead, collaborate and strive for their best. The event ended the year with pride, gratitude and many memorable moments shared by students, educators and families.
