On 14 August 2026, St. Johannes Berchmans School welcomed parents to its Bridging Program, an informative session designed to help families understand what students can expect as they progress to the next stage of their education at STJBS. For parents whose children are approaching an important transition - such as moving from the upper years of Primary School into Secondary School - the event offered a timely overview of the learning journey ahead.
Academic teams from the Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Junior College divisions took turns presenting their programmes. Each team explained the focus of its division, the learning experiences offered and the ways students are supported as expectations gradually develop. By seeing the complete pathway from Early Years to Junior College, parents gained a clearer understanding of how the school's programmes connect and how each stage prepares students for the one that follows.
The Bridging Program strengthened the partnership between families and educators by creating space for explanation, questions and thoughtful preparation. More than introducing a new timetable or curriculum, the session helped parents see how STJBS accompanies students academically, socially and personally through every transition. With clearer information and continued communication, families can help their children approach the next level with confidence, readiness and a positive sense of purpose.
