Inspiring Dreams: Career Day for Early Years and Primary Students
On November 21, 2024, our Early Years students embarked on a day of discovery and imagination during Career Day. They were introduced to exciting professions such as firefighter, yoga teacher, librarian, reptile keeper, and dog trainer, each brought to life through engaging and interactive activities. The little ones delighted in trying out these roles, whether it was pretending to rescue someone as a firefighter or learning how to care for animals like reptiles and dogs. Their eyes sparkled with curiosity as they explored the possibilities of who they could become one day. This hands-on experience not only broadened their horizons but also encouraged them to dream big about their future.
The following day, November 22, 2024, it was the turn of our Primary students to dive into the world of careers. They explored a range of fascinating professions, including filmmaker, civil engineer, firefighter, cyber security expert, train operator, and content creator. With hands-on activities and insightful discussions, the students learned about the skills, creativity, and dedication each career requires. From experimenting with filmmaking techniques to understanding the importance of cyber security, every moment was packed with learning and inspiration. This immersive experience left them with a newfound appreciation for the many paths they could consider as they grow.
Career Day was more than just an event; it was an opportunity for students to connect learning with the real world and spark aspirations for the future. The excitement and enthusiasm displayed by the students throughout these two days underscored the importance of introducing them to diverse career options early on.
