A New Beginning for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

On July 22, 2024, St. Johannes Berchmans School marked the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year with an opening Mass, bringing students and staff together in a spirit of reflection and gratitude. The Mass set a hopeful and united tone for the year ahead, helping everyone feel part of a larger community. Afterward, students were introduced to their form teachers and classmates, allowing them to get familiar with their new environment. It was a moment of excitement and curiosity as new students met their peers, while returning students reunited with old friends. The introductions helped ease any first-day jitters and created a welcoming atmosphere for all.
The rest of the day focused on settling into new routines and getting to know the school environment. Form teachers guided their classes through discussions about the expectations and schedules for the year, ensuring that everyone felt prepared and confident moving forward. New students were introduced to their mentors, who provided guidance and support as they navigated their first day. By the end of the day, both new and returning students had a clearer sense of what the year ahead would bring, fostering a sense of readiness for the challenges and opportunities to come.

With the 2024/2025 academic year underway, St. Johannes Berchmans School continues its commitment to providing a well-rounded educational experience that focuses on both academic achievement and personal development. The school’s goal is to nurture well-rounded individuals, providing students with opportunities to grow both inside and outside the classroom. The first day set a positive tone for a year full of opportunities, learning, and lasting memories. Students left feeling inspired, knowing they had the support of their teachers and peers as they embarked on their educational journey.
