Empowering Students: Nurturing Leadership Skills

From July 25 to 27, 2024, St. Johannes Berchmans School conducted a leadership training program specifically designed for secondary and junior college students. The event aimed to equip these young leaders with essential skills needed for effective leadership in their academic and personal lives. Facilitated by experienced trainers, the program featured interactive workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises focused on enhancing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Throughout the training, students engaged in activities that challenged them to think critically and develop their unique leadership styles. They participated in role-playing scenarios and team-building exercises, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and empathy in leadership. By the end of the session, students gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be an effective leader and how to apply these principles in various contexts, both within and outside the school environment.
The leadership training marked a significant step toward fostering a culture of leadership among its secondary and junior college students. By investing in their development, the school aims to empower these students to take initiative and make positive contributions to their school community and beyond. This initiative reinforces the commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared to face future challenges with confidence and integrity.
