A Day at NuArt Studio with Secondary & JC Students

On 1 November 2024, the Secondary and Junior College students of St. Johannes Berchmans School embarked on an unforgettable visit to NuArt Studio in Bandung. The museum offered an array of captivating art pieces that left students in awe as they explored the stories and creative processes behind each work. With every corner of the museum, they found new ways to connect with the artists’ perspectives, fostering a deeper appreciation for art and culture. This enriching journey provided an opportunity to step outside the classroom and learn through observation and interaction.
A standout moment of the day was the pottery workshop, where students rolled up their sleeves and dove into the art of clay crafting. Guided by skilled instructors, they shaped and molded their creations, turning imagination into tangible forms. This hands-on activity sparked creativity, encouraged collaboration, and taught them the patience and persistence needed to bring ideas to life. For many students, it was a rst-time experience, making their nished pieces even more meaningful. The workshop served as a reminder of the joy and satisfaction that comes with embracing new challenges.

This enriching trip was more than an art exploration—it was a celebration of imagination and growth, from engaging with exhibits to creating their own art, students returned with valuable lessons and unforgettable memories. The day underscored how creativity and curiosity can pave the way for personal discovery and inspiration.
