Celebrating UN Day with Our Early Years Students

On October 18, 2024, our Early Years students were immersed in a celebration of global cultures, each classroom becoming a vibrant representation of countries from around the world. Dressed in colorful outfits, the children explored different cultures through art, crafts, and decorations that filled the classrooms with excitement and creativity. It was a wonderful sight to see our little ones embracing diversity and learning about the traditions and customs of various nations. They eagerly shared what they had learned with their friends, showcasing a growing sense of curiosity about the world. The energy in the classrooms was infectious, as the students bonded over their shared experiences of discovery.
The day was filled with activities that introduced our students to the richness of global cuisine, with dishes from different regions for everyone to taste and enjoy. From savory treats to sweet delicacies, the students had the opportunity to experience the flavors and food traditions of other cultures. This hands-on experience helped make the lesson about global unity both fun and educational. Many students were excited to try new foods and express their thoughts on the tastes, creating lively conversations among them. The joy on their faces as they sampled the various dishes showed how much they appreciated this special experience.
A big thank you to the parents who joined in to make this celebration even more meaningful for our little ones! Your involvement added a personal touch to the event, making it even more special. It was heartwarming to see the students actively participating and taking pride in their newfound knowledge about the world around them. UN Day not only expanded their horizons but also strengthened their appreciation for diversity and cultural exchange. The sense of community and connection was truly felt, and it was a memorable day for all involved.
